The Northeast Florida Builders Association is pleased to announce it has filled two director-level positions with highly qualified local candidates.
Jessie Spradley has been named director of government affairs. Spradley grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from the University of North Florida in 2006 with a degree in political science.
After graduation, Spradley volunteered on local political campaigns and was selected to coordinate Charles McBurney’s successful bid for state representative.
McBurney hired Spradley full time to serve as his district aide. In that position, Spradley was responsible for the day-to-day operation of the local office, handling constituent issues and researching political legislation.
Spradley has served on the board of the Jacksonville Junior Chamber of Commerce — the Jaycees — and is now its president-elect.
As government affairs director at NEFBA, Spradley will monitor and organize response to proposed legislation in the five-county area NEFBA serves, Duval, Clay, St. Johns, Nassau and Baker counties. He will also serve as liaison with NEFBA the Clay Builders and Remodelers councils.
Palmer Kuder is NEFBA’s new director of the Sales and Marketing Council. She grew up in Jacksonville and attended The Bolles School.
Upon graduation she matriculated to the University of Alabama and earned a degree in communication studies, with a minor in English, in 2007. Before joining NEFBA, Kuder taught pre-K for four years.
Kuder’s responsibilities at NEFBA include coordinating activities and events of the Sales and Marketing Council and acting as staff liaison with the E-Council and Young Guns Council.
Spradley and Kuder can be reached at (904) 725-4355 and [email protected] and [email protected].
