Franklin Danley was named City President of Regions Bank to lead its consumer, business, commercial and wealth management banking efforts in Jacksonville.
He succeeds Marty Lanahan, who left Jacksonville in June as North Florida area president of Regions Financial Corp. She was named West Florida area president and is based in Tampa.
Danley will oversee nearly 170 Regions associates and 25 branches in Jacksonville and St. Augustine.
Danley most recently served as the Regions North Central Alabama Business/Community banking executive. He joined the bank in 1997 as part of the company’s management associate program.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Birmingham-Southern College.
