Jacksonville-based Pappas Metcalf Jenks & Miller, a real estate and land use law firm, has joined the Gunster firm.
Gunster, based in West Palm Beach, announced that it has expanded its Jacksonville office by adding Lynn Pappas, John Metcalf, Thomas Jenks, Frank Miller, Marcia Parker Tjoflat, G. Todd Cottrill, Kathryn Whittington, Spencer Cummings, Staci Rewis and Nicholas Dyal.
Gunster said the expansion strengthens its commercial presence in Northeast Florida by adding real estate and land use to its litigation practice.

Pappas, Metcalf, Jenks and Miller are shareholders who will join both the real estate and environmental and land use practices of Gunster.
They each have 30 years or more of experience handling complex transactions for many of the region’s largest community developers, multifamily and condominium developers, community associations, shopping center developers, mitigation banks and other types of market participants.
Their land use work includes development of regional impact approvals, comprehensive plan amendments, and zoning as well as state and federal environmental permitting.
Whittington, a shareholder, Tjoflat, of counsel, and Rewis, a senior associate, will join the environmental and land use practice. Whittington and Rewis have experience in zoning and land use matters, while Tjoflat adds experience in environmental permitting and administrative litiga-tion.
Cottrill and Cummings are shareholders with backgrounds in complex commercial real estate transactions, including construction loans, commercial leases, and purchase and sale transactions.
Dyal is an associate who will be joining the real estate, litigation, and construction law practices.
