VyStar Credit Union’s seven-level, 807-space parking garage at 27 W. Forsyth St. is scheduled to open later this year to support the pending Laura Street Trio redevelopment, to provide parking for VyStar employees and the city, and to bring in new business on the ground-floor spaces Downtown, says a VyStar spokesperson.
Construction began in August 2021 on the $22 million project between Laura and Main streets. Danis is the contractor. Dasher Hurst Architects is the architect.
There is about 12,000 square feet of street-level retail space. No tenants have been announced.
The garage is one block from the VyStar campus at Bay and Laura streets.
