Untuckit announced it will open its first Jacksonville store Wednesday at St. Johns Town Center.
The 1,500-square-foot store, at 4711 River City Drive, No. 101, will be the chain’s 30th nationwide.
As the name implies, the shirts are designed to be worn untucked. It also sells T-shirts, polos, sports jackets, performance wear and women’s and boys’ lines.
The New York City-based retailer will lease space next to the Ann Taylor store.
Two notes: The news release announces the store will open “in the heart of Jacksonville,” a not-uncommon view of the Town Center area. And the stores offer a wine-table display with empty wine bottles and the company’s top picks for the season.
RaceTrac Petroleum stores will be built in Gateway Village at Town Center and in the Mayport area.
Venture Construction Co. is the contractor for the 5,500-square-foot gas stations, convenience stores, canopies and fuel pumps. Each is $1.4 million.
The city approved the permits Tuesday.
At the new Gateway Village, RaceTrac will build on 1.26 acres at 5004 Gate Parkway.
In Mayport, RaceTrac will build on 2 acres at 2009 Mayport Road.
