Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed attorney Richard Komando to the St. Johns River State College District board of trustees.
A former assistant state attorney in the 4th Judicial Circuit, Komando is a partner at Bradley, Garrison & Komando in Orange Park.
Komando’s volunteer service includes First Coast Healing Hands, Project Cold Case, Florida’s Children First and the Jacksonville Victims Assistance Advisory Council.
He received a bachelor’s degree in criminology and a Master of Business Administration from Florida State University and his law degree from Loyola University of New Orleans.
His appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
The state Supreme Court certified Bryan Rendzio, an attorney, mediator and arbitrator at Ansbacher Law, as a Certified Family Mediator.
He previously was a circuit judge in the Family Law Division in the 7th Judicial Circuit. He has mediated more than 800 civil litigation disputes.
Rendzio is the head of Ansbacher Law’s alternate dispute resolution department and a panel mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
