St. Vincent’s Health System Inc. paid $1.58 million for 2.27 acres in North Jacksonville for construction of a Health Center.
Jacksonville-based St. Vincent’s bought the land April 6 from Second Time Signature LLP, led by Stephen Leggett as managing partner, along Max Leggett Parkway east of Interstate 95.
It will be one of 10 Health Centers planned by St. Vincent’s and is one of six identified North Florida sites.
The first two opened in Mandarin and in St. Johns County. Three more are in development in Regency, Westside and along Gate Parkway.
St. Vincent’s spokesman Kyle Sieg said the North Jacksonville location is expected to open in spring 2019.
The timeline for the other openings are Regency, this summer; Westside, this fall; and Gate Parkway, early 2019.
Sieg said St. Vincent’s also plans two health centers to open in late spring in South Georgia.
A Waycross center will include urgent care, cardiology and weight loss services and a Kingsland location will include urgent care and weight loss services.
