Atlantic Retail – Orlando announced Jan. 3 that Publix Super Markets Inc. will be the major tenant of Elevation Pointe at Florida 16 and Interstate 95 in St. Johns County.
Elevation Pointe is set to open in summer 2024.
It is designed for 420 town homes, 320 apartments, two hotels and 100,000 square feet of retail and office space.
“We have had a great deal of interest from several national concepts which includes restaurants and retail,” said Owais Khanani, founder and CEO of Elevation Development, in the news release.
“With Publix now as an anchor tenant, we anticipate securing several concepts to add to this premier development which would define this corridor to be one of the finest due to its proximity to I-95 and Premium Outlets - directly across from our development,” Khanani said.
Scott Giles is the senior broker for Atlantic Retail – Orlando.
“This development will be the perfect fit for an area that is quickly becoming one of Florida’s most desirable locations,” Giles said in the release.
Elevation Development Vice President of Development Mike Rich called Publix “the crown jewel of Elevation Pointe where residents can shop, dine and fulfill daily needs all within walking distance of nearly 800 homes.”
Elevation Pointe is across from the St. Augustine Premium Outlets and will be accessible by County Road 208 as well as Florida 16 and I-95.
Publix will anchor the retail shopping. Giles said there is other available retail space and outparcels facing Florida 16.
Construction is underway on the project.
