Home Depot is seeking 20 full-time and part-time employees for its Jacksonville distribution center, the company said April 2 in a news release.

Distribution center associates help fulfill online orders and replenish store inventory.

The Jacksonville distribution center is at 4601-100 Bulls Bay Highway in Westside Industrial Park, at northwest Interstate 295 and Pritchard Road.

To apply, candidates should visit careers.homedepot.com, select “Learn More,” choose Jacksonville as your city and search jobs. Candidates must fill out a 15-minute application.

Because it is an essential retailer, Home Depot will remain open during Florida’s stay-at-home order.

“Homeowners and businesses depend on the company for urgent needs such as hot water heaters, refrigerators and freezers, cleaning supplies, electrical and plumbing repairs, and harsh weather items like tarps, propane and batteries,” the release said.

Home Depot said it is giving $100 bonuses to hourly employees who work more than 35 hours a week, and those who work 16-35 hours a week will receive an additional $50.

The company also is paying hourly workers double-time for overtime until April 30.
