Jacksonville-based Hanania Automotive Group announced it will be the title sponsor of the 2022 Naval Air Station Jacksonville Air Show scheduled Oct. 22-23.
The company will receive top billing as the sole title sponsor.
“Supporting our military is an important cause to us. Nearly 35 percent of the Hanania Automotive workforce is retired military personnel, and we’re proud to do our part to support all of our armed forces because they protect us, and they protect democracy around the world,” said founder and CEO Jack Hanania in a news release.
Hanania Automotive Group was the title sponsor in 2012, 2014 and 2018.
After three years of cancellations, the NAS JAX Air Show returns with free admission and parking, as well as military and civilian aircraft displays and food and beverage booths.
The release said the main event on both days will be performances by the Blue Angels, the elite Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron that started at NAS JAX in 1946.
Organizers expect 300,000 visitors for the event, making it one of the largest air shows in the South.
The Hanania Automotive Group, which bought and will be headquartered in a Downtown Southbank 10-story building, has grown to a total of 17 dealerships and three collision centers.
