GreenPointe Developers announced May 5 it bought 290 acres in Clay County, where it plans to build 770 single-family homes.
The “recreation-rich” development, Granary Park, is along Sandridge Road and Feed Mill Road, the news release said.
“Community residents will enjoy a variety of recreational amenities, homes offering innovative floor plans and the latest designs, and a convenient location near the new First Coast Expressway,” said GreenPointe Developers Regional President Liam O’Reilly in the release.
He said Jacksonville-based GreenPointe will release more information soon about the community’s builders, homesite availability and pricing.
Plans for the development call for one- and two-story homes on 40-, 50- or 60-foot wide homesites, priced from the $200,000s.
It will offer two- and three-bedroom homes ranging from 1,800 square feet to 3,000 square feet.
The community will have a clubhouse, pool, fitness center, playground and dog park.
The release did not say when construction would begin.
GreenPointe also is working on developments that include EvenTide in Ponte Vedra Beach, GreyHawk in Clay County, TrailMark in St. Johns County and Tributary in Nassau County.
