The 37th annual Florida-Georgia Moot Court Competition was Friday at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse and when time expired, the oral argument team from the University of Florida was declared the victor.

Above, Dana Bradford, partner with Atlanta-based Smith, Gambrell & Russell, and, far right, Stephen Busey, partner with Smith Hulsey & Busey in Jacksonville, presented the trophy to UF law students Sara Altes and Steven Cline.

The panel for the competition comprised U.S. District Judges Timothy Corrigan (chief judge), Marcia Morales Howard, William Moore and Lisa Godbey Wood and Senior U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges.

The late Mark Hulsey, a University of Florida graduate, began the competition that is co-sponsored by Smith Gambrell to honor the legacies of Hulsey and the late E. Smythe Gambrell.
