To help you close more deals and capitalize on Florida’s robust housing market, Countrywide Home Loans, Inc., recently brought in mortgage master and 20-year industry veteran Rick Brown as area sales manager for north Florida.
Brown is the first ever to serve in this capacity in Jacksonville for Countrywide - reflecting the company’s dedication to expansion in the area to meet the needs of local industry professionals and their buyers.
In this new position, Brown already has made significant strides to boost the expansion initiative through his efforts to increase the branch network and build a larger team of expert home loan consultants. Brown currently oversees three branches in Jacksonville, plus offices in Tallahassee, St. Augustine and Fernandina Beach. Plans for an additional location in Orange Park are also underway.
As a Countrywide area sales manager, Brown is responsible for hiring, training and retaining branch managers and home loan consultants to provide high-caliber customer service that compliments the company’s broad range of products. To help more of your buyers get into their dream home, Countrywide offers fixed- and adjustable-rate, conventional, government and jumbo loan programs, as well as no downpayment and flexible guideline options.

Prior to joining Countrywide, Brown completed a 20-year tenure with Wachovia Mortgage (formerly First Union Mortgage), where he served in numerous capacities ranging from producing branch manager to his most recent position as regional sales manager for North Florida.
