Construction is underway on the $35 million Luxury Apartments at eTown in South Jacksonville, Summit Contracting Group announced Wednesday.
The apartments will be within the Village Center, south of eTown's single-family neighborhoods.
The community will comprise 332 units in seven buildings. Amenities include a leasing center, clubhouse, mail kiosk, swimming pool, fitness center, business center, dog wash area, dog park, grilling stations with fire pits and a walking trail along a lakefront.
Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2020.
The developer is Catalyst Development Partners and the architect is Humphrey’s & Partners Architects/Florida LLC.
The PARC Group is developing eTown “around the belief that convenience, community, technology and sustainability enhance a modern way of life.”
ETown will include homes, apartments and retail. It sits primarily east of Interstate 295 and Florida 9B, with some property to the west.
Pulte Homes, Toll Brothers, Del Webb, David Weekley Homes and ICI Homes are developing projects at eTown.
