HSF Affiliates named Christy Budnick, president and CEO of Jacksonville-based Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty, as its global CEO on May 24.
HSF Affiliates operates and manages the global network of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Real Living Real Estate brokerage franchises.
As CEO, Budnick will oversee 1,500 HomeServices offices throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and the Middle East and the 150 Real Living Real Estate offices.
She replaces Chris Stuart, who left to pursue another opportunity.
In her new role, Budnick will remain based at Berkshire Hathaway’s Belfort Road office. She also remains as chairperson of Florida Network Realty in an advisory role.
“I am honored and humbled by the opportunity to lead HSF Affiliates and its brands,” Budnick said in a news release.
“The Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Real Living owners and managers are extraordinary operators and their teams of agents are among the most experienced, productive and talented in the business.”
Kevin Waugaman, who served as vice president of core services for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty, is now CEO. Ann King, who was vice president of brokerage, will serve as the organization’s president.
Waugaman will oversee the Northeast Florida brokerage operation and the company’s lending, relocation, title and property management businesses.
King will continue to lead the brokerage division and oversee marketing, digital innovation and expansion efforts.
“I am extremely confident in our company’s future in the talented hands of Kevin and Ann,” Budnick said.
“Their exceptional leadership skills, extensive experience and many accomplishments in agent recruiting, development and mentoring have been instrumental to our success.”
Budnick, 51, joined Florida Network Realty in 2002 as a manager of the Beaches office and became president and CEO in 2018.
“She is a strong, charismatic and decisive leader who has done an excellent job gaining the trust of both her agents and their buyers and sellers,” HSF Affiliates Chairman Gino Blefari said in the release.
“She brings a tremendous amount of experience, integrity and innovation and I am confident that she will take Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and Real Living to new levels of success.”
Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty operates nine offices with 475 agents in Northeast Florida. It had more than $1.44 billion in closed sales in 2020.
