Skinner Bros. Realty, along with The PARC Group, announced Friday that Ben & Jerry’s ice cream will open in the expansion of Nocatee Town Center.
Robert and Nicole Nettles will own and operate the store. They own two Ben & Jerry’s locations in St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.
Build-out of the 1,200-square-foot store is expected to be completed by the end of February, Robert Nettles said. The store plans to open in the spring.
The shop will serve more than 30 ice cream flavors, milkshakes, sundaes, ice cream cakes and to-go pints. He said the Nocatee shop would have a larger focus on ice cream cakes than his other shops.
“We chose this location because of the community atmosphere,” Nettles said. “It’s our kind of clientele, as far as being able to have families and have events, and it’s a growing community.”
Nocatee Town Center is east of Crosswater Parkway and the Publix-anchored shopping center, south of Nocatee Parkway.
Construction on the shopping center’s second phase began earlier this year. It is anchored by GreenWise Market.
Ben & Jerry’s will join Clean Juice, First Watch, Sherwin Williams and Makk Fashions in the expansion.
