Jacksonville-based sales and marketing company Acosta named Darian Pickett as chief executive officer.
Pickett, a 28-year veteran of the company, succeeds Alejandro Rodriguez Bas, who joined the company only a year ago.
Acosta said Monday that Rodriguez Bas is leaving “to pursue other opportunities.”
In a news release, Acosta Executive Chairman Gary Chartrand said Rodriguez Bas helped the company progress on its transformation plan.
“Acosta is now positioned to drive sustainable, long-term growth for our clients, our customers and Acosta. The Board has determined that this is the right time to make a transition,” Chartrand said.
Pickett most recently served as chief client officer for Acosta.
“Darian’s transition to Chief Executive Officer is a natural progression of his successful career within the organization and I am confident he is the right choice to lead Acosta at this time,” Chartrand said.
