One of Downtown’s longest-standing traditions, the annual spring Home & Patio Show, opens today and continues through Sunday at the Prime Osborn Convention Center.

As of Wednesday afternoon, 332 booths were reserved for the show, 30 more than last spring, said Cristian Moore, show manager.

“Bushor Tree Service has been at the show for more than 30 consecutive years. We have people who came to this show as children to work at their parents’ booths who have now taken over the family business and are bringing their children to work at the booth,” he said.

In addition to myriad products for inside and outside the home, this year women’s jewelry and accessories are exhibited and the pet supplies section has been expanded.

Friday-Sunday, home and garden seminars will be conducted on the Fresh Ideas Home Stage and cooking demonstrations by regional and local chefs will be presented on the Jacksonville Magazine Cooking Stage.

A food truck rally is scheduled Sunday, along with a display of outdoor furniture.

This year, the show has partnered with The Arc Jacksonville to showcase a new line of furniture manufactured by Arc clients made from recycled materials that otherwise might have been deposited in a landfill.
