JWLA swears in new officers

The new executive board of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association was sworn in Thursday at the Law Office of Joseph and Marees.

The goal of the association over the next term is to boost membership and involvement of members by creating more networking opportunities for its membership. The association will move its monthly luncheons across the river from the River City Brewing Company to the River Club atop the Modis Building.

The association is currently planning its opening reception, which will take place in September.
