Q. What does account login mean?
A. The account login is used for determining what level of service that you have. You obtain a login by subscribing to The Daily Record. Once you login, you will be able to view complete data for areas that you have access to. If you go to a page that your subscription does not give you access to, you will be shown a sample of the current data available. When you have a subscription and are logged in with your userid and password, you will be able to view complete data.

Q. My username and password are not working
A. One of the most common reasons for this is that you have used the wrong case for entering in your username or password. Our system is case sensitive and this will cause an error.

Another reason for this error is because you have DO NOT ACCEPT COOKIES checked in your browser preferences. Our website uses sessions, but on older browsers and AOL, we must set a cookie that lets the website know what level of subscription that you have and that you are logged on.

• Speaking of the River Run, after the race the Landing will host its Fifth Annual Gumbo Festival Saturday presented by the local PHiNS club (Parrotheads in Natural Settings). There will be more than a dozen gumbo competition booths. Live entertainment starts at noon by the George Aspinal Band followed by the Sauce Boss at 5 p.m. The Sauce Boss was featured in a song written and performed by Jimmy Buffett in “I Play for Gumbo.” After the gumbo judging ends, the eating begins.

• The Jacksonville Suns 2010 regular season begins April 8 and single-game tickets go on sale Monday online at www.jaxsuns.com and at the Baseball Grounds box office. The Suns will sport new uniforms and colors this season. While not a full redesign, the colors will change from blue, yellow and red to black and gold.
