Recently closed Arlington nightclub Jim’s Place sells for $1 million

The buyer owns the neighboring properties and previously planned apartments there.

Jim’s Place, a longtime Arlington nightclub, sold Jan. 16 for $1 million.

Owner and operator Jim Jones III, 78, closed the club Jan. 1 after 33 years. He decided to retire and sell his business and liquor license.

The buyer was the law firm Parady & Zikakis of Fort Lauderdale through Arlington Florida LP.
